Gerelmaa Altangerel, a Mongolian PhD candidate at the University of Canberra, studies Self-Regulated Learning of Mongolian nomadic children in their informal home-based early childhood education. Gere's research interests lie in the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) of young children in cross-cultural environments. Currently, she is investigating the SRL practices of Mongolian nomadic children, which are shaped by their informal home-based early childhood education within the context of their nomadic culture.
