Namatullah Kadrie is a PhD candidate in History at the School of Culture, History, and Language, College of Asia and the Pacific, Australian National University. His dissertation examines the conquest of Hazaristan during the late 19th-century Afghanistan. Prior to commencing his doctoral studies, He completed a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree at Deakin University. His research interests are Afghanistan historiography, genocide and mass atrocity studies, and marginalised histories.
